Overview:

One of the Costa Dorada's largest and most famous holiday resorts, Salou offers it's visitors miles of soft, golden beaches, safe bathing, pavement cafés, bars, restaurants, discos, night clubs, boutiques, beachside playgrounds, pedestrianised shopping areas, two exciting Water Parks and Port Aventura World.

At the southern edge of the resort is located the attractive fishing town of Cambrils with it's bustling harbour life and weekly market (Wednesday), whilst at the northern edge of Salou you arrive into the La Pineda area, with another long stretch of beach and  further range of Hotels and apartments, all areas are easily connected via the local bus service.

In the Salou's residential old town you will find its weekly street market (Mondays) as well as the towns main railway station - a fabulous opportunity to explore the region easily and cheaply including a frequent direct service to Barcelona.
