On Board Hostess Service

On Board Hostess Service

HostessOur hard working Hostesses are a key part of the Siesta onboard experience, providing a range of drinks, snacks and light meals on our overnight shuttles to Spain, South of France and most short break trips to Disneyland Paris.

They do their utmost to keep their menu focused on good quality ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible from their own butchers, bakers and local providers, and using "brand names" rather than cheaper alternatives.  Importantly they also endeavour to keep their prices low, always with the client's budget in mind.

With Siesta you will not find the inflated prices you often associate with on board catering from airlines, train companies or some coach firms.

Our Hostesses work in cooperation with each other to provide a unified service. Whichever Hostess looks after you, you will always find the same high standards.

Did you know?

Our Hostesses work entirely on a self-employed basis and do not receive a salary from Siesta. The onboard catering they provide to our clients is how they make their living.

They go through a vigorous selection process prior to being accepted and they are all are trained in Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Food Preparation.

We value our Hostess highly, they are a vital part of our Siesta Team. In fact they are often the "Face of Siesta" - being the first person you see when you begin your holiday and the person who will look after you all the way back home again. Most of our Hostesses have been with us for several seasons and will be familiar faces to many of you.

A Polite Request...
With the above in mind, if you choose to bring your own food or drinks with you to consume onboard (please see luggage policy) we would ask you to please bear in mind that the service that your Hostess provides is her livelihood.
The onboard fridge has limited space and, likewise, the power systems onboard and water heater have limited capacity therefore we do not permit the hostess to allow clients to use the onboard equipment or power supply for personal items

We thank you most sincerely for your understanding and cooperation.

If you are travelling with an infant your Hostess will be pleased to heat up your babyfood in the microwave, please don't hesitate to ask her about this.
