PCV Driver with some vehicle maintenance experience

Full Time

We are currently seeking a PCV driver who has some practical experience of vehicle maintenance. to support our existing team. Based in Middlesbrough, the successful candidate will provide support to the other members of the transport department.

The hours of work are generally 8 am to 4 pm however, flexibility is required as early starts and late finishes are required at times.

During our busy season, April to October, you will be required to carry out some driving duties. Weekend working will also be required and you will be 'on call' 1 in 3 weekends.

Siesta International Holidays Ltd is a Coach Tour Operator with many years experience of running coach-shuttles to Spain and the South of France.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to work to tight deadlines, in a pressurised environment
• Practical experience of vehicle maintenance
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise activities and multi-task
• A proven ability at problem solving
• Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision and as part of a team
• Proficient IT skills
• Be flexible and adaptable.

A Category D licence is essential for driving duties ie to drive feeders or shuttles during busy periods.

Previous experience in an administrative/logistics role is an advantage.

Salary

£20,000 to £22,000 per annum, depending on experience
